Teton Crest Counseling

Paige Johnston, MS, LPC

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor based in my hometown of Jackson, Wyoming. I earned my Master’s in Counseling from the University of Wyoming and feel grateful to support the community that helped shape me.

I work with teens, adults, and couples, offering a warm, collaborative space for growth and healing. Therapy services are offered both in person and via HIPAA-compliant telehealth.

Outside the office, you’ll find me mountain biking, skiing, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the mountains I’ve always called home.

Services

  • I enjoy working with adults, couples and adolescents with various mental health concerns, including relationships and sex, PTSD and trauma, mountain trauma and stress injuries, depression, anxiety, survivors of abuse, grief and loss, gender identity, stress management, and life transitions.

  • I work with individuals and couples to address concerns related to desire disparities, sexual functioning, intimacy, communication, and the emotional aspects of sexual relationships. Sessions provide a safe, shame-free space to explore sexuality and foster greater connection and fulfillment.

  • I support couples in strengthening communication, deepening emotional connection, and working through conflict. My work draws from research-supported frameworks to help partners feel secure, understood, and connected.

  • I draw from a range of therapeutic modalities, including:

    • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for trauma and distressing memories

    • Internal Family Systems (IFS) to explore parts of the self with compassion

    • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for patterns of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors

    • Gestalt Therapy to increase awareness, authenticity, and present-moment connection

    • Gottman Method Couples Therapy for practical, research-based relationship tools

    • Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) to help partners build secure, lasting bonds

Fees & Insurance

Initial Intake Session

$300

The 50-minute initial intake session is your first appointment, where we get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. During this session, we’ll discuss your history, concerns, goals for therapy, and what you’re hoping to gain from our time together. It also allows us to create a personalized plan that best supports your needs moving forward.

Individual & Couples Therapy

$275

Subsequent sessions following the initial intake session.

All individual, couples, and sex therapy sessions are 50 minutes in length unless otherwise discussed.

Insurance & Billing

I accept insurance, including Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS).

Coverage and copays vary based on your individual plan, so I encourage new clients to contact their insurance provider directly before the first appointment to confirm benefits and out-of-pocket costs.

Our billing team can help with a superbill for those out of network who wish to file with your insurance company.

For billing or insurance questions, please contact Tara Steiner, CPC, at 314-802-1079 ext. 1.
